- Probably because there isn't a decent AmigaOS system-level PostScript
- driver to print with. Unfortunately, there are just too many obstacles
- to writing simple utilities like this. On a Mac, I could write a
- utility to do this with AppleScript for TT and PS fonts. If I wanted it
- on an Amiga, I'd have to get a real programmer to write one for me.
-
- BTW, there are lots of good font sample books at your neighborhood
- art shop, graphic store, or bookstore. We have a good superstore here
- that has lots to choose from.
-
- Or call Adobe at 1-800-445-8787 and ask for a copy of their font
- catalog (Font & Function). It's a nice guide to have lying around.
- (And buy some of their fonts too. They are expensive, but there's
- nothing like buying the real thing. I'd much rather have 3 or 4
- families of Adobe fonts than ten cd's full of crap.)
